Not sure where the past few bad reviews come from - this is some of the most authentic Thai I have had outside of Thailand. Prices are awesome, food was beautiful and fast. I’ve paid much more at other places for bland Thai with much smaller portions. You can see them cook the food in front of you and everything is perfectly clean! Hidden gem of Sunshine Coast

I dined in last Saturday and was pleasantly suprised with the service from a red headed teenage girl. Now normally, I dont enjoy the company of teenagers, nor red heads, however this lovely girl changed my whole experience. She treated my every need and made me feel welcome and at home. She even compensated for the average tasting fried rice. Even though the food was mid, I would for sure come back for the service of this young lady and the family spirit I felt when I was here. And on top of all this that poor girl had to juggle all the orders and jobs and did it with a big smile on her face and never broke character. I think they need to hire more staff to improve the quality of this restaurant.

Look the place could do with a makeover... however I absolutely adored a young red headed worker named Makaia. After a long day of hard labour and restless work, I came to get my favourite Pad Thai meal. Her smile lit the whole restaurant and she was so friendly to me. These days it's so hard to find servers that are genuine. Gen Z has ruined the art of customer service but I could tell she was different... she was an old soul... something special. I would come back again just to have a good old chat with her

Serene Thai Restaurant is a great restaurant in the heart of Cooroy with authentic Thai food. I had the Massaman Curry with Coconut rice and I found out it was a real Thai Grandmother’s recipe and she was in the shop cooking it! All the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was busy with dine in and take away orders. The Calamari was also delicious and a generous portion. The Matcha Tea really hit the spot with a real Green Tea Flavour. I will certainly be back to Serene Thai Restaurant next time I’m in Cooroy!
